in corporate real
estate and management
to the Treasure
Coast Research Park.
He serves the park
as Executive Director,
having accepted
the appointment
in early 2009. As
director he leads
the Treasure Coast
Research, Education
and Development
Park Authority’s
(TCERDA) efforts
to build and operate
a park they expect
will draw high-paying
jobs and economic
growth. His efforts,
along with those
of authority board
members, recently
launched steps to
place essential
infrastructure that
will meet park tenants’
operations needs.
Mr. DeVries’s
curriculum vitae
demonstrates a long
and distinguished
career marked with
repeated success
with major development
plans from development
to occupancy. He
has served in senior
management positions
with public and
private institutional
owners and developers
of commercial real
estate including:
The Prudential Insurance
Company, Allegheny
International, Ocwen
Bank, the Radice
Corporation and
The Advance Group.
Early in his career,
DeVries served as
development manager,
supervisor for construction
and development
of the 250,000-foot
renowned Enerplex
office buildings.
Mr. DeVries earned
a Master of Business
Administration (MBA)
from the University
of Pittsburgh and
is a Florida licensed
real estate broker,
a member of the
national Counselors
of Real Estate (CRE),
an international
Fellow of the Royal
Institute of Chartered
Surveyors (FRICS)
and the Chair and
President of the
Florida Network
of Research, Science
and Technology Parks.
