Mike L. Adams is president of Adams Ranch, a renowned cattle ranch in operation since 1937. His contribution as an agricultural leader is critical to the park’s success as a uniquely Florida agricultural science research park. Like his ancestors, Mike has devoted his entire career to agriculture, and his family ranch, dedicated to a program of total ranch management on which the family adapts cattle to its land, climate, insects and the feed on which it is produced. Since 1985, Mike has served Adams Ranch as its President. In this capacity he manages the ranch business cattle and citrus operations in St. Lucie, Okeechobee and Osceola counties.

In addition to his service to TCERDA, he is Supervisor of the St. Lucie County Soil and Water Conservation District. He is current Treasurer of the University of Florida Treasure Coast Research Foundation. Mr. Adams is a longtime committeeman on the Indian River Citrus League Land and Water Committee, also serves as President to the St. Lucie County Farm Bureau, the Florida Braford Breeders, and the Treasure Coast Resource Conservation & Development Council. He retains membership with the St. Lucie County Cooperative Extension Advisory Council, the St. Lucie County Everglades Restudy Committee and the Foundation Board of Indian River State College.
